Libby Oakley is the winner of the Dr. Winkler memorial scholarship. Libby is the daughter of John and Amanda Oakley. She is the youngest of four children. Libby attends First Baptist Church of McKenzie and has a part time job at Flex Fitness in McKenzie.
Libby will graduate from McKenzie High School as a Distinguished Scholar on May 19, 2019 with a 4.0 GPA. During high school, Libby has been active in many clubs including a four year member of the Beta Club, president of the Library Club, Student Council Representative and a member of the 2018 football homecoming royalty. One of her proudest accomplishments is being a red cord recipient for Lifeline Blood Donors.
Furthermore, Libby is a four year member of the MHS Lady Soccer Team and was elected captain and All District and the All-Tournament Team during her senior year. She was recently elected to represent her school at the Carroll County Sports Hall of Fame. Upon graduation, Libby plans to attend the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
