The Bruceton Clinic was McKenzie Medical Center’s (MMC) first satellite clinic. We are excited to provide the community with access to quality health care as the town’s only family medical clinic.
The clinic operates within the specialty of family medicine via Family Nurse Practitioner, CHRISTY BLOUNT and Physician Assistant, STAN KING . A multitude of acute and chronic illnesses can be managed and patients of all ages are accepted. In addition to general family practice, they also perform minor surgical procedures such as skin lesion removal and joint injections. Two licensed practical nurses are available for patient care including injections and immunizations. The clinic also has a full time laboratory, which is another convenient service for the community.
Diagnostic tests such as x-rays, CT scans, and MRIs can be scheduled at the main McKenzie Medical Center in Mckenzie or other facilities at patient’s choice or convenience. Referrals can be made to specialists including those available at the main McKenzie Medical Center which includes cardiology, obstetrics and gynecology, general surgery and more. MMC also employs a registered dietician ALICE CHAPMAN who is available to see patients at the Bruceton location on certain designated days. Both clinics are linked electronically making all records at any MMC clinic accessible to all providers to help improve patient care.
