MMC’s Dresden Specialty Clinic Commences Business

McKenzie Medical Center’s Dresden Specialty Clinic at 136 South Wilson Street in Dresden opened to see patients on December 28, 2009, though the onsite facilities, such as the pharmacy and x-ray are still being installed. Hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The clinic operates within the specialties of Internal Medicine via Dr. Mark Cooper and Family Practice via nurse practitioner, Beth Riddle, and Physician Assistant, Leslie Gibson. The Manager of the clinic is Trish Bodine.

Once completely finished there will be an x-ray, ultrasound, lab and a pharmacy on site. The clinic will also offer the latest in weight loss injection treatments, the MIC-ULTRA injections. The future goal is to enhance these services to include pulmonology, cardiology, general surgery, as well as OB/GYN.

Dr. Volker Winkler, a managing partner of McKenzie Medical Center, said “This is the newest addition to MMC’s satellite clinics. We are very excited to have Leslie Gibson joining Beth Riddle and Dr. Cooper, as we progress towards our goal of meeting the medical needs of Dresden and the surrounding areas. McKenzie Medical Center operates a main clinic and specialty clinic behind the Hospital in McKenzie and a satellite clinic in Bruceton.
